376. Reliance on representation or culpably uncorrected belief must lead person to change his position to his detriment.

(iii)�� The Nature of Detriment

It is necessary to reliance-based estoppel that in acting upon the representation (or culpably uncorrected belief) the estoppel raiser should have changed his position to his detriment¹. A representation made to a person after he has changed his position cannot give rise to an estoppel,
