Personal Accounts definition

What does Personal Accounts mean?

A new system of personal pension savings accounts (similar to the National Pension Savings Scheme) proposed by Lord turner's Pensions commission, introduced from 2012 and now known as national employment savings trust (NEST). All employers will be required to offer auto-enrolment in the scheme to their employees unless they have a more generous occupational pension scheme which already enrols employees automatically.
