What does Programme mean?

The programme, usually presented as a timeline/chart, is the document recording the contractor’s sequencing and timing for carrying out the works. It is usually prepared by the contractor at the start of the works, presenting the timeline that the contractor proposes to build to, showing activities occurring between particular dates.

DPA suitability checklist Court's oversight of the interests of justice and fairness, reasonableness and proportionality The UK deferred prosecution agreement (DPA) regime provides for judicial oversight of DPAs. After negotiations as to the terms of a DPA have commenced and before it has been concluded, the court must determine: • whether it is likely to be in the interests of justice, and • that its proposed terms are fair, reasonable and proportionate Therefore, each factor must be supported by clear and persuasive proof in order to seek to persuade the court to approve the DPA. Planning performance agreements What is a planning performance agreement? Planning performance agreements (PPA) are optional memorandums of understanding or agreements between an applicant for planning permission, local planning authority (LPA) and in some cases, other interested parties like certain key statutory consultees. PPAs contain commitments as to the timescales, actions and resources to be employed for a specific planning application. They are a project management tool or framework, which set out the process for reaching a decision on a planning application. PPAs are usually entered into before submitting an application and can cover all stages of the planning application process, including the pre-application stage. While they tend to focus on the pre-application and application stages, they can also cover the post-application stage (governing how reserved matters or approvals of details will be handled). PPAs can take the form of a simple memorandum of understanding or exchange of letters, or they can be made under section 111 of the Local Government Act 1972 (LGA 1972) (see Q&A: What...
