Landlord and Tenant (Covenants) Act 1995 (1995 c 30)

The 1995 Act introduces significant refinements in landlord-tenant relationships pertaining to covenants, fundamentally altering certain aspects of lease assignments and the responsibilities of successive landlords and tenants. It removes the automatic perpetuation of liability from original tenants once a lease is assigned, unless otherwise agreed upon.
