The EI program provides temporary financial assistance to individuals who are:

  3. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý pregnant

  4. Ìý

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý caring for a newborn or adopted child

    •ÌýÌýÌýÌý caring for a family member who is seriously ill with a serious risk of death.

Claims for EI benefits are made through the Canada.CA
